ModoPersona for Heads of Customer Success

Know which client QBRs need a conversation before the meeting

A Head of Customer Success should not spend the leadership meeting reconstructing which QBRs happened, which clients are probably next, and who needs a follow-up. ModoPersona can use the completed QBR history your team already records in Notion to prepare an attention list—without asking CSMs to maintain another system or treating a missing record as proof of missed work.

Private workspace for one manager. No employee accounts required.

QBR attention before Monday's meeting

Notion QBR history · Manager-confirmed mapping

  • Darwin: three completed QBRs suggest a roughly 90-day rhythm; verify the next plan.
  • Northstar: the inferred window has passed, but confirm before calling it overdue.
  • Arc: only one completed QBR is recorded, so there is not enough history to estimate cadence.
Ask each CSM for the missing plan or context; do not turn the list into a scorecard.

The job to be done

The QBR tracker records the past but does not prepare the next conversation

CSMs may add completed QBRs manually while dates, client relations, and ownership live across flexible fields. Before a recurring leadership meeting, the Head of CS still has to remember each account's rhythm, notice likely gaps, and ask for plans. A static table is evidence, but it is not yet a preparation workflow.

How ModoPersona handles it

A focused workflow, with the source still visible

  1. 01

Connect the QBR table your team already uses
Share the relevant Notion data source with ModoPersona. The connection discovers its schema first, so the CS leader can verify the table before any record metadata is imported.
  2. 02

Confirm what a completed QBR means
Map the title, client relation, meeting date, QBR tag, and optional CSM or creator field. Only matching metadata is cached; the free-form account notes and QBR page body stay in Notion.
  3. 03

Review likely next windows with the team
ModoPersona groups completed meetings by client, estimates the observed cadence, and orders likely next QBRs by date. Low-confidence and one-record histories remain visibly uncertain so the manager knows what to clarify.

Context stays useful because you can inspect it

The walkthrough uses synthetic data to show preparation, person-specific context, evidence, and manager commitments in one workspace.

A preparation list is not a CSM performance report

ModoPersona shows what the connected history supports and labels every next-QBR date as inferred. A missing or late-looking record becomes a question for the CSM, never an automatic claim that a commitment was missed. The workflow does not read QBR page bodies, evaluate account quality, rank CSMs, or make renewal decisions.

Questions managers ask

Can ModoPersona tell me whether every CSM completed their QBRs?
It can show source-linked QBR records that match the manager-confirmed fields and highlight clients whose historical cadence suggests attention. It cannot prove that an absent record means the QBR did not happen, so the result is presented as a question to verify with the CSM.
Do CSMs need another account or workflow?
No. The Head of CS connects the existing read-only source and confirms its structure. CSMs can continue recording completed QBRs in the system they already use while the manager receives a preparation view.
